VectorLink Tanzania’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Team lead the charge to build the capacity of key government partners on data-use using the VectorLink Collect System! One of the first teams to adopt the new DHIS 2-based VectorLink Collect system, Grace Murage (M&E Manager), Monzo Murasi (Database Manager), Ditrick Novat (M&E Officer), and Kenan Mwansasu (IT Manager) just completed a series of workshops with the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and Zanzibar Malaria Elimination Programme (ZAMEP) teams to introduce them to the new system. The hands-on workshops allowed participants to dive into the exciting dashboards and experience the power and potential of this one-stop data shop (see recent success story) for making informed vector control decisions. The VectorLink Tanzania M&E Team received valuable feedback from the government attendees on ways to further customize dynamic data visualizations to answer key questions and began important discussions on how to sustain VectorLink Collect’s impact in the long term. Way to go Tanzania Team for championing data use, and being pioneers in building VectorLink Collect capacity amongst our key government partners!
