The U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative Fights Malaria in Malawi and Helps Keep Kids in School
When kids fall sick from malaria, they often miss weeks of school and can easily fall behind in their learning. In 2017, many of the children in Malawi’s Nkhotakota District were contracting the disease three times a year. Children sick that often can easily slide into malnutrition.
